Terms and Conditions
Shipping and Handling Policy
VapeMate charges a flat rate for Shipping and Handling as follows:
- Canada – $9.99 + tax
- COD (Canada Only) – 17.24 + tax
- United States – $16.99
Any shipping fees associated with packages that are Returned to Sender for failure to receive will not be refunded.
These rates will apply and your order will be shipped via Canada Post unless other specific arrangements are made with us directly.
For Shipments outside of Canada, the customer is responsible for any duties, taxes, tariffs or other charges for the import of any products purchased from Vapemate.
Shipping Time -- All orders received by 2 pm (central time) will be shipped the the same day or the next business day, provided the products ordered are in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by VapeMate or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
### Proof of Age Required
As of January 1st, 2016 the new Ontario Legislation (Bill 45, Schedule 3 Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2015) enacted a law prohibiting sale of Electronic Cigarette products to anyone under 19 years of age. We will utilize Canada Post's Proof of Age (19+) option on every package, no exceptions.
This means that a signature will be required upon delivery of your shipments. If you are not available when delivery is attempted, a card will be left in your mailbox and the package will be left at your nearest post office. You would then need to take that card to the post office where you will show Proof of Age and sign for the package. See the Canada Post website for ID Requirements.
If we are able to undoubtedly verify that you are over 19 years of age, you may be exempt from this procedure.
Credit Cards and Billing
We currently accept COD (Canada Only), Interac Email Money Transfers (Canada Only), Visa, MasterCard and American Express Payment options. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.
Returns
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on any Vapour Liquid for safety and sanitary reasons. We will gladly accept the return of hardware that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date of purchase at no charge. If the incorrect item was ordered, returns of unused hardware will be accepted. There is a 15% restocking fee on these items. After we receive and inspect the items, a credit certificate for our website will be issued for the dollar amount of the unused items, less the restocking fee.
All hardware products are tested at the factory. All the batteries are tested by us before they are shipped out.
Taxes
Where applicable, our store shall automatically charge and withhold the appropriate sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within Canada. For orders shipped outside of Canada, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes, import and duty taxes and document fees.
Multiple Product Orders
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.
Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. VapeMate reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Out-Of-Stock Products
We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the next business day. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. We may contact you to find out if you want to substitute for another product.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Battery Recycling Program
VapeMate participates in and supports the battery recycling program. We ask that our customers participate as well. Please dispose of your batteries properly by dropping them at an approved recycling drop-off location. For any of our customers that are unable to find an approved drop-off location for our Electronic Cigarette batteries, we invite you to send them to us and we will dispose of them properly.
